One of the main objectives we have as a Union is to provide our members with the benefits they deserve, but which have not been available to you as an independent contractor with the State of Ohio.

We have researched various benefit options and are happy to be able to provide our members with several choices ranging from individual major medical health insurance and guaranteed issue mini-med health plans to life, disability and group accident insurance.

We are also proud of the fact that as a committee, we have been able to acquire enhancements, such as contingent guaranteed issue on life and disability coverage. Contingent guaranteed issue removes the height and weight restrictions that would normally apply to life and disability coverage and also limits you to answering three questions regarding your health when applying.

Life insurance coverage is available to you, your spouse, children and grand children. Disability coverage is being offered to you, as well as your spouse.
